A versatile, problem-solving professional with extensive aviation managerial experience, Grant Herbst serves as CAAP’s Vice President of Consulting.
Possessing deep cross-functional experience in numerous areas of both commercial and private aviation, Grant assists new and long-term consulting clients with all their aviation planning needs. His primary areas of practice include strategic fleet planning, economic analysis, aviation asset valuation, and new aircraft acquisition negotiations. He also leads CAAP’s brokerage practice, driving value for clients by combining strategic thinking and analytical rigor with skilled negotiations on aircraft transactions.
Additionally, Grant’s attention to detail and careful management for request for proposal (RFP) processes for both financing and aviation have helped clients improve their bottom lines.
From 2006 to 2009, Grant served as a Business Analyst for a large corporate aviation consulting and transactions firm. Prior to joining the corporate aviation industry, Grant held management positions in marketing, finance, and revenue management for American Airlines. Grant holds a Bachelor of Science in economics degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. With a lifelong passion for aviation, Grant is also an FAA licensed private pilot.
